“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” – Hebrews 12: 1-2
Jeannette*… After years in parish and diocesan youth ministry, then completing my Masters in Social Work, I now spend the majority of my time as mommy and teacher to my young family. I enjoy a flavorful cup of coffee, especially when shared with friends along with a heartfelt story or two. I am always learning about something new, be it a new cooking technique or writing style. I believe that the Lord’s plans for us are much more than we can imagine and find great joy in the abundant ways He blesses me.
Cari*… I’m an avid enthusiast for all things new evangelization. I teach people and apostolates how to put systems into place and communicate their message in memorable and highly engaging ways in order to develop their specific mission, build their teams, and reach more people. If you need to find me, I’m most likely sipping some coffee and scrolling through Pinterest.
Leslie “Stelly”… I am the Gals’ official photographer! I not only have a love for coffee, chocolate, and the arts, but I also appreciate all things well designed, especially nice leather goods, jewelry, and architecture. Most days I can be found loving my husband and chunky baby , designing something (or dreaming about designing something), and looking forward to what God has in store for my little family. ** Stelly is to be credited for our signature red shoe picture, as well as the amazing images which make up our homepage background!
Letitia* … I am wife of Deacon Scott E. Peyton and mother of six wonderful children ages 6 through 20. I am a homeschooling mom with a passion for learning through reading. I enjoy socializing and meeting new people but most of all, I love having coffee and conversation with my closest friends as often as possible. I am a second grade CCD teacher at my church parish, a facilitator for the Office of the Permanent Diaconate for the Diocese of Lafayette, and a facilitator for Bible Studies for women upon request as well as an organizer for parish retreats for women and anything else that our church parish needs upon request. I enjoy time spent with my husband and children, cooking, crafting, reading, traveling, gardening, and quiet moments outdoors.
Bernadette “Bernie”…. I am the wife of Chip Gauthe’ and stay at home mother of 5 wonderfully made little men, ages 1 through 9 yrs old. I have 8 plus years of youth ministry experience, and still enjoy sharing my faith with young people. Currently, I stay busy volunteering my time helping with St. Gerard Society, Women’s group ministry, and Fall Fest Committee for my boys school, and helping with our parish pro-life, Mothers of young children, and youth ministries. I enjoy spending time with my husband and boys, baking, cooking, sharing the things I bake and cook with those I love, sharing birth and NFP stories, serving others, and spending time with other Catholic moms.
Leslie J*…. I am Leslie Johnson. I have been married to my husband Jody for twenty-nine years. We have eight children, four boys and four girls, in that order. We also have our 3rd and 4th grandbabies on the way. I have been homeschooling for over twenty years now and still love it. I enjoy celebrating the Church’s Liturgical Feasts in my home with family and friends. I also like heirloom sewing and smocking, planting flowers and visiting with friends over dark, black coffee.
